LOVE the almonds, but I'm curious why my recent order came in a box labelled, or a rather re-labelled "hilltop ranch almonds" with the Hilltop Ranch crossed out? I'm confused if the almonds are from your farm or from third party? Transparency is key here, you're selling the idea of farm almonds, but I'm dissapointed if they're actually just re-packaged bulk from third party.

As transparency is key for us, we want to assure you that the almonds are indeed grown organically by Farmer Jimmy and his family.
Here’s the deal: in California’s almond industry, after Jimmy harvests his almonds, they’re sent to a dehuller and then a pasteurizer for food safety. The pasteurizer often packs them in their own branded boxes, like the 'Hilltop Ranch' ones you saw. The crossed-out label is just a result of reusing those boxes, but rest assured, the almonds inside are 100% from Jimmy’s farm. For Jimmy to get custom boxes for his almonds, its a pretty penny.
