Ginger and Turmeric are important crops here at the Farm on Central. While they come with their unique challenges, they are not hard to grow and we consistently get several lbs of rhizomes per plant. These rhizomes are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, making them key ingredients in our fire ciders. While they serve as tasty spices, ginger and turmeric can also be used for creating medicinal teas, tonics, and more!
