Planting and Growing Instructions

1. Plant cuttings in early spring once the ground thaws.
2. Choose full sun to partial shade depending on your climate.
3. Keep soil consistently moist while establishing, especially in hot regions.
4. Elderberries thrive in moist, well draining soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0.
5. Space plants 2–4 feet apart in rows spaced 10–14 feet apart.
6. Prune annually in late winter or early spring (when plant is dormant) to encourage new fruiting wood.

Shipping Details: Sold as dormant cuttings in bundles, shipped fresh starting in February. STORE IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR UNTIL PLANTING.
