We aim to help your garden thrive! From selecting the finest non-GMO seeds to employing organic farming practices, we take every step to promote the well-being of your plants. We grow in compost based mix, apply a wide range of prebiotics and inoculants, and harden them off before selling them. And the care we use shows. We’ve developed a cult following for our healthy, vigorous seedlings, with folks coming back year after year because ours establish quickly, grow faster and yield more than others' plants.
Easy Care for Annual Herbs
Choose a sunny location for planting, as most annual herbs, including basil, cilantro, dill, and parsley, thrive in full sun. When planting the seedlings, ensure proper spacing to allow for optimal growth and airflow; basil and cilantro should be spaced about 6 to 8 inches apart, while dill and parsley may require slightly more space, around 12 to 18 inches apart. Cilantro and dill should be planted every couple of weeks for a constant harvest. Basil and Parsley are typically planted once in the spring.
Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, particularly during hot and dry periods. Mulching around the base of the plants can help retain moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature. Monitor for pests such as aphids, spider mites, or whiteflies, which can be managed through early detection and organic control methods such as handpicking or applying insecticidal soap. Fertilize the plants with a balanced organic fertilizer every few weeks to promote healthy growth and robust foliage.
