Northern Mystery Strawberry Bundle. (Zones 4-7)

IMPORTANT UPDATE 10/29: We are getting down to the very last of our strawberry plant inventory! Our remaining plants have healthy crowns and a healthy root system, but do not yet have an abundant amount of leaves, so everything we have left is 30% off.

Please make sure you are ok with this before ordering!!! Your plants will arrive looking a little bit sparse, but they will still grow as long as the roots are healthy.

Mystery Variety Mix: We'll be randomly grabbing your plugs from what we have left of the following varieties: Galletta, Keepsake, Malwina, Ruby June, Fronteras, AC Valley Sunset.

Planting & Spacing

• When to Plant: Plant plugs in September for fall establishment, ensuring strong roots before winter. 
• Spacing: Plant 12-18 inches apart in double rows 24 inches apart to allow for  good air circulation. Use raised beds for better drainage in heavy soils.

Care Tips

• Soil: Plant in well-drained, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5–6.8). Adjust high-pH soils with sulfur if needed.
• Watering: Provide 1–1.5 inches of water weekly via drip irrigation to keep foliage dry and prevent fungal issues.
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced organic fertilizer (e.g., 1-2-1 NPK) at planting. We will include fertilization recommendations.
• Winter Protection: After the first frost, apply 4–6 inches of straw mulch to protect crowns in Zones 4–5 or use rowcover to protect them. Remove in spring but keep some mulch for weed control.
• Pest Control: Strawberries are relatively pest free other than slugs.
