Planting Instructions:

• Choose a well-draining location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight.
• Prepare the soil by incorporating compost or organic matter to improve its fertility. Take a soil test to see what nutrients you may need to balance the soil.
• Soak bare roots in water for 1-2 hours before planting to rehydrate.
• Plant the plants at a depth where the crown is just above the soil surface (not buried to prevent rot, nor too high to avoid drying out).
• A 12 in by 12 in spacing is recommended, but you can space further apart (up to 18 inches) for better air circulation.
• Water well after planting and maintain consistent moisture throughout the growth period (1-2 inches per week, especially during fruiting).
• For stronger establishment in the first year, consider removing early flowers.
