Growing Information
🌱 Plant Type: Bare root strawberry (day-neutral / everbearing)
🌱 Hardiness Zones: 4–8 (may remain evergreen in warmer climates)
🌱 Mature Size: Up to 12 inches tall, spreading 12–24 inches
🌱 When to Plant: Early spring, as soon as soil can be worked
🌱 When to Harvest: Late spring through fall (until frost, depending on location)

Cultivation Tips
Soil requirements: Plant in well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. Incorporate compost before planting and avoid low areas where water may pool.
Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily) for best fruit size and sweetness.
Planting depth: Set plants so the crown sits just above the soil surface—not buried and not exposed.
Spacing: About 12 inches apart (up to 18 inches for improved airflow and larger berries).
Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture (about 1–2 inches per week, especially during fruiting). Mulching helps conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
Fertilization: Regular feeding supports continuous flowering and fruit production.
First-year care: Removing early flowers can help plants establish stronger roots, though Seascape will often still produce later in the season.
Harvesting: Pick berries when fully red and fragrant. Harvest regularly to encourage continued production.
Landscape use: Excellent for garden beds, borders, containers, ground cover, and edible landscapes.
